New Rolling Stock

The introduction of the new 09 and S-stock trains on the London Underground Network required hundreds of drivers to be trained simultaneously. 3DVSL were commissioned to create the Operational Standards ESim program, designed to provide multiple layers of training to London Underground staff including: familiarisation of new trains, driver training and defect handling. Easily distributed via intranet the ESims are available to staff at work and at home

Existing Stock

Working with SPT Subway, where the purchase of a full cab simulator is not economically viable, we converted typical whiteboard training sessions to fully interactive ESims including: pre-start driver training, track hazard awareness, route familiarisation, train evacuation in tunnels and online competence assessment. Easily distributed, our simulations increase the speed of the driver training process.
